Hello! I’m Tyler Huser—owner of Huser Insurance Agency and a lifelong Goshen native who believes great insurance starts with real relationships and honest service. I’m proud to lead an agency that has grown from a scratch start in 2019 to one of the area’s most trusted independent insurance teams, serving thousands of families and businesses across Northern Indiana.
Rooted in Goshen. Built on Family.
I grew up here in Goshen and graduated from Goshen High School in 2005. Today, I’m blessed to share life with my wife, Brittni, and our two kids, Treyton and Braylie, who are active in the Fairfield community. If you ever stop by our office, there’s a good chance you’ll hear us celebrating a big Fairfield win.
Passions Off the Clock
Outside the office, I’m usually coaching, cheering, or chauffeuring my kids to whatever sport is in season. I’m a passionate fan of Notre Dame Football and the Indianapolis Colts. I try to improve my golf game whenever I can (still a work in progress), and I spend plenty of time in the gym—trying to survive another CrossFit workout.
Service First—In Every Chapter
Before launching this agency, I served seven years as a full-time Goshen Police Officer after graduating from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. Protecting and serving this community shaped who I am—hard-working, community-focused, and always committed to doing the right thing.
That desire to serve didn’t go away when I hung up the badge. It simply led me to a new way of helping people.
The Start of Huser Insurance Agency
In 2019, I opened Huser Insurance Agency with one carrier, a folding table, and a mission:
make insurance simple, honest, and truly local.
Since then, our agency has grown into a multi-carrier independent operation representing ERIE Insurance, Progressive, Travelers, Foremost, Trexis, and Geico. Today, we insure homes, autos, businesses, recreational vehicles, and more—while maintaining a 90% retention rate and a reputation for fast, personal service.

Life is full of unexpected moments, and my goal is to help you prepare for them with confidence and peace of mind. As a licensed insurance professional with years of experience, I specialize in Life Insurance, ensuring families have the protection and security they need. While Life Insurance is my primary focus, I’m also licensed in Home, Auto, and Business Insurance to provide well-rounded coverage for my clients.
With a background as a teacher for over 15 years, I’ve spent my life investing in people—listening, guiding, and helping them navigate important decisions. I bring that same approach to insurance, taking the time to understand what matters most to you so I can provide the right solutions for your family’s future.
Born and raised in Elkhart County, I deeply value family, community, and servant leadership. My wife, Chelsea, and I are raising our two daughters, Brielle and Lyndi, with those same principles in mind. Being a dad is the greatest title I’ll ever hold, and I know firsthand how important it is to plan for our loved ones’ futures. Outside of work, I enjoy coaching soccer, serving in my church, and finding ways to give back to the community.

Hey there! I'm Shanna Nisley, and I'm thrilled to share a little bit about myself with you. First things first, I'm happily married to my best friend and the love of my life, Drew Nisley. Together, we're navigating the beautiful chaos of parenthood with our three wonderful children, all of whom are enrolled at Bethany.
My professional journey took an unexpected turn during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. After dedicating several years to the medical field, I found myself embarking on a new adventure at Huser Insurance Agency. Starting as an unlicensed Customer Service Representative, I dove headfirst into learning the ins and outs of the insurance world. In 2022, I proudly earned my Property and Casualty license, marking a significant milestone in my career. Fast forward to today, and I am honored to serve as the New Account Manager at Huser Insurance.
What fuels my passion for this role? It's the relationships. I am incredibly grateful for the connections I've formed with our clients. There's something truly special about being able to assist and support them through life's twists and turns. Whether it's finding the perfect coverage for their needs or offering guidance during challenging times, I'm here to ensure they feel secure and cared for.
When I'm not immersed in the world of insurance, you'll often find me indulging my love for all things Disney. Whether it's exploring the magic of the parks or enjoying a Disney movie marathon at home, I cherish every moment spent in that whimsical world.

I’m Mark Huser, born and raised in Goshen, IN. My name might sound familiar – I’m Tyler’s uncle. I’m married to my wonderful wife, Marla, and together we have six adult children. Family is everything to me, and I’ve always made sure to balance my career with being there for my loved ones.
Before I got into insurance, I spent over 32 years serving the Goshen Police Department. I had the privilege of being the first D.A.R.E. officer for both Goshen PD and Goshen schools, and I consider that one of my greatest treasures. Throughout my time with the department, I built relationships in the community that I’ll always hold dear. After retiring from the police department, I worked with Goshen Community Schools, continuing my passion for serving others.
Back in 2019, I decided to get my property and casualty license, though I took a backseat for a while while working with the schools. Now that I’m no longer at Goshen Schools, I’m fully focused on my role as the Community Outreach Director and Professional Photographer. As Community Outreach Director, I work with our team to find ways we can do good and be good in the community. If you have an idea or suggestion on how our agency can help, please don’t hesitate to let me know—I’d love to hear it! As our professional photographer, I go out and take pictures of every home we insure, making sure they meet our carrier standards, which is something I take great pride in.
I’ve always loved serving my community, and now I get to do that in a new way. From law enforcement to insurance, it’s all about helping people and making a positive impact where I can.
Hi, I’m Brittni Huser—yes, that Huser. Tyler and I have been married for 18 years, and we’re proud parents to our two kids, Treyton and Braylie. I was born and raised here in Goshen and graduated from Fairfield High School in 2005. After nearly 20 years with the same employer in New Paris, I joined Huser Insurance Agency in 2024 as our Administrative Assistant—only my second job since high school.
In my role, I handle the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our agency running smoothly: processing paperwork, managing cancellations, helping with late payments, and taking care of the tasks that free up Tyler and Shanna to focus on clients and policies. If it needs organized, followed up on, or cleaned up, it usually lands on my desk—and I’m happy to take it on.
I also play a key part in supporting our clients, making sure nothing falls through the cracks and that communication remains strong. Whether it's a billing issue, a document request, or general account support, I’m here to help make the insurance experience simple and stress-free.
Outside the office, I love spending time with my family, relaxing by the pool, and cheering on our kids in their many sports and activities. I’m grateful to be part of Huser Insurance Agency and to serve our community in a new and meaningful way.
